Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record all vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit memos in the ERP system.
• Ensure accurate coding, timely approvals, and adherence to company policies and contract terms.
• Perform three‑way match, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly and month‑end AP aging reports, reconcile vendor statements, and assist with cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support month‑end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and audit documentation.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce processing time.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 2+ years of hands‑on accounts payable experience, preferably in construction or related industry.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP, AP best practices, and regulatory compliance.
