Accounting Controller

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Controller to lead the finance function for a Federal Contractor based in San Diego, San Diego County. This full‑time role offers a fixed salary of $126,613.17 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management.
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and federal regulations.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to auditor inquiries promptly.
• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements specific to federal contracting, such as FAR and DFARS compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering clear recommendations to the executive team.

Qualifications & Requirements
