Job Summary

Join Aston Carter in Indianapolis, Marion County as an Accountant 3 – Receivables Support Analyst. This full‑time role focuses on cleaning up receivables, speeding up collections, and improving cash flow for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed account research to identify and resolve discrepancies in the receivables ledger.
• Validate and correct data to accelerate recovery of outstanding invoices.
• Reduce aging exposure by prioritizing high‑risk accounts and applying appropriate adjustments.
• Collaborate with collections, finance, and customer service teams to streamline payment processing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all remediation activities and audit trails.
• Generate regular reports on receivable aging, recovery rates, and working‑capital impact.
• Assist in developing best‑practice procedures for backlog remediation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit & collections, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation

Salary: $92,952.26 per year (fixed). Competitive benefits package offered.
