Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries for the shipbuilding entity.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and internal reporting packages.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations of balance‑sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with internal auditors and external audit teams during audit cycles.
• Analyze cost data for projects, provide insights to improve budgeting and forecasting.
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to enter, track, and report financial data.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
