Job Summary
Join the Middlesex-London Health Unit as a part‑time Community Health Nursing Specialist in London, Ontario. This temporary role (until April 2027) offers a salary between $87,464 and $114,400 and provides leadership for non‑funded program (NFP) nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NFP nursing practice across new and existing community sites.
- Support implementation of provincial health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Provincial, NFP and multidisciplinary teams to develop care pathways.
- Provide clinical mentorship, education and supervision to nursing staff and allied health professionals.
- Analyse health data, prepare reports and recommend improvements to service delivery.
- Participate in community outreach, health promotion and stakeholder engagement activities.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practising certificate in Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years experience in community health or public health nursing.
- Demonstrated experience in NFP or similar non‑funded health programmes.
- Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for site visits.
Desirable Qualifications
- Post‑graduate qualification in public health, community health or health administration.
- Experience with electronic health record systems and data‑driven quality improvement.
