Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in‑process components, and finished metal products for compliance with specifications.
• Identify, document, and communicate non‑conforming parts to production staff and supervisors.
• Perform tool and equipment calibrations and maintain accurate calibration records.
• Generate inspection reports, maintain traceability logs, and support corrective‑action processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical or engineering coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in a metals manufacturing or machining environment.
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and visual gauges.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to follow written procedures.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/quality software).
• Ability to work 1st shift hours and lift up to 50 lb.
