About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous threat monitoring and analysis using SIEM and EDR tools.
• Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to identify weaknesses.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
• Train and mentor team members on security awareness and safe computing practices.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams to embed security controls into applications and systems.
• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Develop automated security scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve response times.

The Cybersecurity Specialist will design, implement, and monitor security protocols across our network infrastructure, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents in real time. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security best practices into development cycles and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for conducting threat hunting initiatives and contributing to our security research agenda, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging attack vectors. Requirements

Professional Qualifications

We require a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and a proven track record of incident handling are essential. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions such as Okta or Azure AD is required. Familiarity with zero‑trust architecture concepts and implementation is a plus. Technical Skills
