About the Role

Northstar Operations Group is seeking an ambitious Assistant General Manager to support daily business operations, guide department leaders, and help execute strategic initiatives. Working closely with the General Manager, you will monitor performance, resolve operational challenges, and ensure teams have the resources needed to succeed.

This position is ideal for an adaptable operations professional who enjoys both people leadership and process improvement. You will translate business goals into practical action plans, collaborate across departments, and create a consistent, high-quality experience for customers and employees.

What You’ll Do

• Support daily operations and ensure objectives are completed on time and to standard.
• Track key performance indicators, analyze results, and recommend practical improvements.
• Coach managers and frontline employees to strengthen accountability and performance.
• Assist with scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, and workflow optimization.
• Help recruit, onboard, train, and retain strong team members.
• Communicate priorities clearly through virtual meetings, reports, and performance reviews.
• Identify compliance, quality, and customer-service opportunities across the organization.
• Represent company leadership during meetings and in the General Manager’s absence.

What You Bring to the Role

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in operations, retail, hospitality, customer service, or business management.
• At least one year of experience supervising employees or leading a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence facilitating virtual meetings and communicating with distributed teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Professional judgment, sound decision-making, and a service-focused mindset.

Preferred Experience

A bachelor’s degree, operations certification, or experience with CRM, workforce-management, and business-intelligence platforms is advantageous. Experience supporting multi-location teams or managing performance in a remote environment is also valuable.

Compensation and Salary Range

Estimated salary: $58,000–$78,000 USD per year. Final pay depends on experience, industry, scope of responsibility, and location. Eligible employees may also receive performance incentives, paid time off, and career-development opportunities.
