About the Role

As a remote Artificial Intelligence Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders. You will assess organizational challenges, identify valuable AI use cases, evaluate suitable machine learning and generative AI platforms, and develop roadmaps that align innovation with security, compliance, and operational goals.

This position combines strategic consulting, technical expertise, and stakeholder leadership. You will work independently in a distributed environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the United States.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct AI readiness assessments and translate business objectives into prioritized technology strategies.
• Design practical use cases for generative AI, machine learning, automation, data analytics, and intelligent decision support.
• Evaluate AI vendors, platforms, models, and architectures based on performance, scalability, security, and total cost.
• Build business cases that connect AI initiatives to revenue growth, productivity, customer experience, and risk reduction.
• Partner with executives, engineers, data teams, and operations leaders to guide pilots from concept through implementation.
• Establish responsible AI practices covering governance, privacy, bias mitigation, model monitoring, and regulatory requirements.
• Create clear documentation, presentations, implementation plans, and performance metrics for technical and nontechnical audiences.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in AI consulting, data science, enterprise technology, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, generative AI, large language models, cloud platforms, APIs, and data engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to develop AI strategies, assess business value, and communicate recommendations to senior executives.
• Experience leading AI discovery workshops, proof-of-concept projects, vendor evaluations, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Working knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, and model governance principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, machine learning, data science, or AI governance are especially encouraged to apply. Experience in financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or professional services can also strengthen your profile.

Salary Range and Compensation

Estimated salary: $85,000–$135,000 USD per year. Compensation depends on experience, technical depth, industry expertise, and project responsibility. Depending on the final package, eligible consultants may also receive performance incentives and professional development support.
