About the Role

You’ll serve as a cornerstone of our virtual recovery program, delivering personalized counseling, facilitating group sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans. Your primary focus will be to foster resilience, teach coping skills, and help clients navigate the challenges of sobriety in a supportive, stigma‑free environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one‑to‑one and group counseling sessions via secure video platforms.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA‑compliant client records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, social workers, and peer‑support specialists to coordinate holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention and referral services as needed.
• Stay current on best practices, emerging research, and regulatory changes in substance abuse treatment.

Requirements

We’re looking for a candidate who brings both expertise and a genuine passion for helping others:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Licensed or Registered in your state (or credentialing in progress).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and virtual communication tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, active‑listening, and crisis‑management skills.

Salary Range
