About This Position
Role Overview
Urban Intelligence is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in Christchurch to drive growth for its Resilience Explorer® platform. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary of $75,000–$95,000 and works closely with councils, central government, iwi and infrastructure managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities across the public and private sectors.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations and demos of the Resilience Explorer® platform.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with product, research and marketing teams to align solutions with client needs.
- Track sales pipelines, forecast revenue and report on performance metrics.
- Represent Urban Intelligence at industry events, workshops and conferences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within climate, risk management or tech‑enabled services.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear value propositions.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills and proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Passion for sustainability and resilience solutions.
