Job Summary

Headway is seeking a fully‑licensed Mental Health Counselor to join its remote team. This role offers a competitive rate of up to $110 per hour (approximately $75,600 annually) and provides access to a platform that helps you accept insurance, attract covered clients and grow your private practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based counselling services to clients via video or phone sessions.
• Submit accurate clinical documentation and billing information through Headway’s platform.
• Maintain licensure and professional standards in line with LMHC, LPCMH or LIMHP requirements.
• Collaborate with the Headway support team to onboard new clients and resolve insurance issues.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and peer‑review sessions.

Essential Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in counselling, psychology or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted licence as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – or equivalent LPCMH, LIMHP – in the state of New York.
• Experience delivering remote therapy services preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to Headway’s clinical guidelines.
