About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that address critical water challenges facing communities globally. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing water resource management solutions that balance environmental sustainability with human needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze water distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities, and flood control measures
• Conduct hydrological studies and water quality assessments
• Develop computer models to simulate water systems and predict environmental impacts
• Prepare technical reports, engineering plans, and permit applications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex water resource challenges
• Stay current with evolving regulations and best practices in water resource management

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred for specialized roles
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in water resources engineering
• Experience with water modeling software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, etc.)
• Project management experience with ability to meet deadlines and budgets
• Remote work experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in GIS and CAD software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and standards
• Experience with sustainable water management practices
