Join a fast‑scaling venture studio as a Remote Venture Partner and help shape the next generation of category‑defining startups. You’ll source, evaluate, and mentor high‑potential founders while earning a competitive salary plus meaningful carry in a portfolio built for outsized returns.

About the Role

As a Venture Partner you operate at the intersection of deal flow, founder support, and portfolio strategy. This fully remote position gives you the autonomy to work from anywhere in the United States while collaborating closely with our investment committee, operating partners, and a global network of advisors. Your mission is to identify breakthrough opportunities, lead due‑diligence sprints, and provide hands‑on guidance that accelerates startups from seed to series A and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify 30+ high‑quality deals per quarter across SaaS, fintech, healthtech, and climate tech.
  • Run end‑to‑end due diligence: market sizing, competitive landscaping, unit‑economics modeling, and founder reference checks.
  • Structure term sheets, negotiate valuations, and coordinate closing logistics with legal counsel.
  • Serve as a board observer or board member for 4‑6 portfolio companies, delivering strategic counsel on go‑to‑market, hiring, and fundraising.
  • Design and run founder‑development programs (office hours, workshops, mentor matching) that improve key metrics such as CAC payback and NRR.
  • Contribute to quarterly LP reporting, portfolio health dashboards, and thesis refinement for the next fund vintage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, or high‑growth startup leadership (founder, COO, VP‑level).
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing at least three investments that achieved ≥3× MOIC.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, cap‑table management, and term‑sheet negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication skills – able to distill complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Self‑directed, organized, and comfortable operating in a fully asynchronous, remote‑first environment.
  • U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship required for this role).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree from a top‑tier program.
  • Existing LP or angel network that can be leveraged for co‑investment opportunities.
  • Domain depth in AI/ML, climate tech, or B2B marketplace dynamics.
  • Experience building and scaling venture‑studio or accelerator programs.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$180,000 – $250,000 USD per year (base), plus performance‑based bonus up to 30% of base.

Equity & Carry

Significant carried interest (1.5%–2.5% of fund carry) vesting over four years, plus direct equity grants in select portfolio companies.

Benefits Package

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents.
  • Unlimited PTO with a mandatory minimum of 15 days off per year.
  • $3,000 annual learning stipend (courses, conferences, certifications).
  • Home‑office setup allowance ($2,500 one‑time + $500/year refresh).
  • Quarterly off‑site retreats (travel covered) to align with the investment team and founders.
  • 401(k) match up to 4% after 90 days.

Culture & Values

We operate on a “founder‑first” philosophy: transparency, radical candor, and long‑term alignment guide every decision. Our remote‑first culture is built on asynchronous communication (Notion, Loom, Slack), weekly syncs, and a shared commitment to diversity of thought. You’ll join a tight‑knit team of operators, investors, and builders who celebrate wins together and learn fast from setbacks.

How to Succeed in This Role

  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline cadence – set weekly sourcing targets and track conversion metrics in our CRM.
  • Leverage your network for warm introductions; cold outreach should be data‑driven and personalized.
  • Adopt a “coach‑not‑control” mindset with founders: ask the right questions, provide frameworks, then step back.
  • Contribute to the firm’s thesis evolution by publishing quarterly market insights and presenting at internal investment forums.
  • Embrace continuous learning – allocate time each month to explore emerging technologies and regulatory shifts.
