You will evaluate business needs, translate them into technical blueprints, and oversee the implementation of cloud solutions that drive performance and innovation. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Design and Planning

You will architect end-to-end cloud solutions using major providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This involves selecting the right services, designing hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery protocols are in place. Your goal is to build systems that are resilient, automated, and ready to scale.

Cost Optimization and Governance

Managing cloud spend is critical. You will conduct regular audits to identify waste, implement tagging strategies, and recommend Reserved Instances or Savings Plans to maximize ROI. You will also establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Working closely with DevOps engineers, developers, and product managers, you will translate abstract requirements into concrete architecture diagrams and technical specifications. You are the communication bridge that ensures engineering teams understand the “why” behind architectural decisions.

Requirements

Technical Proficiency

Successful candidates will possess deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash is essential for automation. You must hold current certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Experience and Background

We require at least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture or engineering roles. Experience with migrating monolithic applications to microservices and serverless architectures is a major plus. A background in enterprise consulting or managed service providers is highly desirable.

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable. You must be able to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly. A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are vital.
