Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic government‑affairs agenda focused on legal and technology policy.
• Build and maintain relationships with Congress members, agency officials, and think‑tank leaders.
• Represent Cato scholars in briefings, hearings, and policy discussions.
• Coordinate research outputs to ensure they meet the needs of federal decision‑makers.

Required Qualifications

• Proven network of contacts on Capitol Hill and within federal agencies.

Compensation

Salary: $112,915.24 annually (fixed). Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
