About This Position

Job Summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team as a Child and Adolescent Therapist in Media, Delaware County, US. This full‑time role provides both virtual and in‑person mental health services to children and teens across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Provide evidence‑based psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, play therapy, etc.) in both virtual and clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and primary care providers—to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document all clinical notes, progress, and outcomes in compliance with state regulations and HIPAA.
  • Participate in case consultations, supervision sessions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Engage families and caregivers in treatment planning and education.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current LSW licensure in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for transfer).
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and cultural competence.
  • Background check and immunization compliance as required.
