About This Position

Job Summary

Questel is hiring a Business Development Representative – Trademark in Alexandria, Virginia. This hybrid role (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote) focuses on prospecting, qualifying leads, and delivering insightful reports to support the Inside Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential trademark clients through cold outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow‑up.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing needs, budget, and decision‑making authority.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and product demos for senior sales staff.
  • Maintain accurate activity records in CRM and ensure pipeline hygiene.
  • Produce concise summary reports and market insights for the sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and improve lead quality.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity metrics and qualified‑lead targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in intellectual property or legal tech.
  • Proven track record of meeting lead‑generation quotas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a hybrid work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $60,278 per year.
