About This Position

Job Summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Sales Representative to cover the Litchfield County, Connecticut territory. This role offers a competitive base salary of $61,106.66 plus uncapped commissions, bonuses and extensive training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of foodservice accounts throughout Litchfield County.
  • Identify customer needs, present product solutions and close sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast sales pipelines and report activity to regional management.
  • Travel within the assigned territory on a flexible schedule to meet client appointments and service calls.
  • Participate in 8 weeks of paid training, ongoing mentorship and industry education programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any service issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in foodservice or related B2B markets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for territory travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
