Job Summary

Actalent is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Benson, Douglas County, US. This role leads small to medium‑sized projects, develops processes and maintenance plans, and trains staff on new equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close small to medium projects with medium complexity, ensuring on‑time delivery and budget adherence.
• Develop detailed work procedures, standard operating instructions, and training materials for new processes, tools, and equipment.
• Define and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, including mechanical evaluations and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – design, quality, production, and supply chain – to optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Analyze production data, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and recommend continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support equipment qualification, validation, and compliance with safety and industry standards.
• Provide on‑site training and mentorship to operators and technicians.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a production environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/solid modeling software and familiarity with GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience developing maintenance plans and conducting mechanical evaluations.
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
