About the Role

As a Remote Data Scientist, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of machine learning projects — from problem framing and data exploration to model deployment and monitoring. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to turn raw data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. This position is 100 % remote; you can work from any location within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and validate predictive models for recommendation, churn, and forecasting use cases.
• Build reproducible data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud‑native tools (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Conduct rigorous A/B testing and statistical analysis to measure model impact.
• Partner with engineering to containerize and deploy models via CI/CD pipelines.
• Document methodology, maintain model registries, and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in ML ops.

Requirements

Must‑Have

• 3+ years of professional experience building production‑grade machine learning solutions.
• Expertise in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
• Strong grasp of statistical inference, experimental design, and model evaluation metrics.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with real‑time inference systems (Kafka, Flink, or similar).
• Familiarity with MLOps frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI.

Salary Range

$115,000 – $155,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and location within the United States.
