About the Role

VoltEdge Solutions is seeking a licensed, self‑motivated Electrician to join our distributed engineering team. In this 100 % remote position you will collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and clients via video conferencing, cloud‑based schematics, and real‑time monitoring platforms. Your primary focus will be creating code‑compliant electrical plans, performing virtual load calculations, and guiding on‑site crews through complex installations and maintenance tasks—all without ever stepping into a physical office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review single‑line diagrams, panel schedules, and conduit layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and Revit MEP.
• Conduct remote load analysis, voltage drop calculations, and short‑circuit studies for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Provide real‑time troubleshooting support to field technicians via augmented‑reality tools and live video feeds.
• Ensure all designs meet the latest National Electrical Code (NEC), local amendments, and OSHA safety standards.
• Prepare permit packages, coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and manage inspection schedules remotely.
• Mentor junior electricians and apprentices through virtual workshops, code‑update webinars, and hands‑on simulation labs.

Requirements

• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license in at least one U.S. state (multi‑state reciprocity a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a design or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency with NEC 2023, NFPA 70E, and relevant IEEE standards.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, and electrical calculation software (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools).

• Reliable high‑speed internet, a dedicated home office, and willingness to travel occasionally (≤ 10 % of time) for critical site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) or similar credential.

Salary Range
