Staff Auditor I – REMOTE

Ryder System is seeking a Staff Auditor I to join its Ryder Audit Services (RAS) team on a remote basis, reporting from Tallahassee, Leon County, FL. This entry‑level audit role provides internal audit and advisory support across the company while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and reporting on internal audits of business processes, controls, and compliance areas.
• Gather and analyze data, perform testing, and document findings in clear, concise workpapers.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to business leaders and help develop action plans.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives by identifying risk‑based opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Ryder policies.
• Participate in special projects or advisory engagements as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–2 years of audit or assurance experience (internships and co‑op work are acceptable).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with audit software is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits
