About This Position
The Workplace Construction Lead at TIAA in New York City, New York, will act as the enterprise subject‑matter expert for commercial construction, overseeing all construction activities across the global portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic construction roadmap that aligns with TIAA’s corporate objectives and associate experience goals.
- Lead cross‑functional teams through the full project lifecycle—from concept design, budgeting, and permitting to construction execution and post‑occupancy evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as TIAA’s sustainability and safety standards.
- Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring for architects, engineers, and general contractors.
