Michael Page International is recruiting a Principal AWS Solution Architect, Technical Lead for a leading medical device company in South Boston, Suffolk County, MA. This hybrid role offers a base salary of $208,567.95 plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical leads and cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements for regulated digital software solutions.
• Design, develop, and oversee end‑to‑end AWS architectures that meet strict compliance, security, and performance standards.
• Lead technical teams in the implementation, migration, and optimization of cloud services, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.
• Provide architecture governance, best‑practice guidance, and technical mentorship to junior engineers.
• Conduct risk assessments, security reviews, and audit readiness activities in a highly regulated environment.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering complex solutions on AWS.
• Proven expertise with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS/ECS, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Strong background in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, healthcare, FDA‑regulated software).
• Professional certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for clinical and business audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
