Job Summary

Compass Solutions is hiring a Product Manager (Security Engineering) in Mount Rainier, Prince George’s County, US. This role leads the strategy, development, and delivery of security‑focused products, ensuring robust protection for our enterprise solutions while driving innovation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market strategy for security engineering offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering, threat research, compliance, and sales teams to translate market needs into feature specifications.
• Prioritize backlog, create user stories, and oversee agile development cycles.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security testing to validate product resilience.
• Manage product lifecycle from concept through launch, post‑release monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements.
• Develop product documentation, training materials, and support resources for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption rates, security incident reduction, and ROI.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of product management experience in security or cybersecurity domains.
• Strong understanding of security architectures, encryption, identity & access management, and cloud security.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional agile teams and deliver complex technical products on schedule.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance audits.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
• Background in software development or security engineering.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices.

Compensation

Annual salary: $142,430.80 (fixed).
