Executive Director, Global Procurement – Commercial

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies for Commercial Communications, including advertising, media buying, corporate affairs, public relations and promotional medical communications.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, legal and finance stakeholders to align procurement goals with business objectives and brand initiatives.
• Lead a high‑performing team of category managers, negotiators and analysts, fostering a culture of cost‑efficiency, innovation and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing commercial communications or media categories.
• Proven track record of delivering multimillion‑dollar savings and managing complex, global supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life‑science industry is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
