About This Position
The Travelers Insurance Company is seeking an IAM Operations Engineer to join its technology team in Talcott Village, Hartford County, US. This role supports identity and access management solutions and ensures secure, reliable access for employees and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint).
- Manage user provisioning, de‑provisioning, and role‑based access controls across enterprise applications.
- Monitor IAM services, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline onboarding and access reviews.
- Collaborate with security, IT, and business teams to enforce compliance with industry regulations.
- Participate in IAM governance, audit preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with IAM technologies and access management processes.
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect) and directory services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor‑specific IAM credentials.
- Experience with cloud IAM services (Azure AD, AWS IAM) and identity governance tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes and service‑desk ticketing systems.
Compensation & Benefits
