Job Summary

Oracle is seeking a Software Development Snr Manager to lead a high‑performing engineering team in Uptown, Marion County, US. You will oversee the design, development, debugging and maintenance of software solutions for databases, applications, tools and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
• Define software architecture and design standards aligned with Oracle’s technology roadmap.
• Plan, prioritize and track development tasks, ensuring delivery of high‑quality code on schedule.
• Oversee debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization of applications, operating systems and databases.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into robust software solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, automated testing and DevOps best practices.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting and reporting for the software development division.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience and at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, object‑oriented design, and database technologies.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or Go.
• Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
