Job Summary
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is offering a paid Masters Summer Internship in Computer Science located in Nashville, Davidson County, US. This 10‑week program provides hands‑on experience supporting cutting‑edge research within the Lab’s Science & Technology directorates.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior scientists and engineers on computational projects related to national security, earth sciences, or energy research.
- Develop, test, and optimize algorithms and software tools using Python, C++, or Java.
- Analyze large data sets, implement machine‑learning models, and visualize results for internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience with scientific computing libraries (NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of parallel computing (MPI, OpenMP) or GPU programming.

Compensation & Benefits
