Bridge Inspection Team Leader

WSP USA is seeking a full‑time Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join its growing Bridge Inspection Practice in the Southeast Region. This role is based in Greenville, Pitt County, NC and offers a competitive salary of $98,371 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise bridge inspection crews on multiple projects across the Southeast.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct field inspections ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, condition assessments, and recommendations for maintenance or rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align inspection findings with project objectives.
• Mentor junior inspectors and provide training on best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data management in line with WSP quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience conducting bridge inspections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of NBI, AASHTO, and FHWA inspection standards.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and client liaison skills.
• Ability to travel regionally and work in varied field conditions.
