About This Position
Job Summary
Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Systems Analyst – Ambulatory to join its team in Wyoming, Kent County, US. This role will configure, roll out, and support Epic Ambulatory applications, acting as a bridge between end‑users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, build, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory software.
- Conduct business and systems analysis to gather detailed requirements.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and documentation.
- Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT staff to translate needs into system solutions.
- Provide end‑user training, troubleshooting, and post‑implementation support.
- Identify and resolve system issues, performing root‑cause analysis and recommending enhancements.
- Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and testing cycles.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Epic Ambulatory modules.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret clinical workflows and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience with Epic reporting tools (Clarity, Caboodle) is a plus.
- Certification in Epic Ambulatory (preferred).
Compensation
Salary range: $73,901.63 annually.
