About This Position

Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the engine overhaul flight deck, coordinating technicians, engineers and support staff.
- Develop and enforce work‑scope plans, inspection procedures, and test protocols to meet FAA and OEM standards.
- Monitor production schedules, track key performance indicators, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Resolve complex technical issues, provide on‑the‑spot guidance, and approve final engine certification.
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance planning to ensure parts availability and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records for each overhaul project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in jet engine overhaul or repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, engine test equipment, and GE Aerospace overhaul processes.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional overtime to meet production demands.
