Scrum Lead – Chassis Analytics
About This Position
General Motors is hiring a Scrum Lead for its Chassis Analytics software team in Grandview Heights, Franklin County, US. Lead a Scrum team of 6‑12 engineers developing data‑driven solutions for vehicle braking, steering, suspension and dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑up, Review, Retrospective) for a cross‑functional team.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists and hardware engineers to define backlog items focused on analytics, machine learning and AI for chassis systems.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality software components that meet performance, safety and regulatory standards.
- Remove impediments, coach team members on Agile best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Track progress using metrics and reporting tools, providing transparent updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, or AI applications in automotive or similar domains.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Background in vehicle dynamics, braking, steering or suspension systems.
- Familiarity with C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar technical languages.
- Certification such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
Compensation
Annual salary: $115,574.32 (fixed).
