Job Summary
Join Sierra Nevada Company, LLC in Oakwood, Montgomery County as a Project Manager I – Production Control Account Manager. Lead projects from design through release, manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communication while gaining people‑management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure design, production, and delivery milestones are met.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with internal departments and external customers.
- Prepare regular status reports and present updates to senior leadership.
- Support project close‑out activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and final deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing production or engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) programs.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Certification such as PMP or CAPM.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: $120,643.58 (fixed). Comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
