About This Position

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve outstanding insurance claims with no response, claim edits, or denials.
- Maintain acceptable A/R aging by timely follow‑up on unpaid claims.
- Submit corrected claim forms and supporting documentation to payors.
- Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to ensure accurate charge capture.
- Document all actions in the electronic health record and billing systems.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering billing inquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in health administration or related field preferred.
- Experience in medical billing, revenue cycle, or patient accounting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, edits, and denial management.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) and billing software.
