About This Position
General Atomics is hiring a Project Manager II in West Acton, Middlesex County, US. This role leads high‑tech engineering projects for the company’s Electromagnetic Systems division, delivering cutting‑edge power generation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close complex electromagnetic and electric power projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, test, and supply chain.
- Develop detailed project schedules, risk registers, and cost forecasts.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing status reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons‑learned documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of project management experience in high‑technology or aerospace environments.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver technically complex programs.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, risk management, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
