Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Active state license as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Minimum of 2 years of direct client counseling experience in substance abuse or related fields.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms (Zoom, Doxy.me, etc.) and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and motivational interviewing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with an ability to build rapport virtually.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet client and documentation deadlines.
