In this fully remote role, you’ll collaborate with clinicians, data engineers, and product managers to build dashboards, conduct predictive analyses, and support evidence‑based decision‑making for a fast‑growing health technology company.

About the Role

As a Health Data Analyst, you will be the bridge between raw health data and strategic initiatives. Your work will involve cleaning and validating electronic health record (EHR) feeds, applying statistical methods to uncover trends, and presenting findings through clear visualizations and reports. You’ll partner closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity, support regulatory compliance, and inform product roadmaps that improve care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and integrate data from EHR systems, claims databases, and wearable device platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, or R.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling to identify risk factors and care gaps.
• Create interactive dashboards and static reports in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare data privacy standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to data governance best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing healthcare or clinical data.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, or SAS).
• Strong grasp of healthcare terminology, ICD‑10/CPT codes, and common data models (OMOP, FHIR).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and storytelling with data.
• Familiarity with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner) and health information exchanges is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate technical findings for non‑technical audiences.
