Job Summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the night shift in New Orleans, Orleans Parish. This full‑time position offers a competitive annual salary of $104,424.75.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families during night hours.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Louisiana.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree acceptable with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years NICU experience or neonatal intensive care certification.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Strong critical‑thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
