You will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical design, from initial conceptualization and schematic capture to final validation and deployment.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of firmware engineers and product managers to ensure that our hardware is scalable, efficient, and safe. Salary Range

$135,000 – $175,000 USD/year (Depending on experience and technical certifications)

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Design

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, including PCB layout, power distribution, and signal integrity analysis.
• Create detailed technical specifications and blueprints using industry-standard CAD software.
• Conduct rigorous simulations to predict system behavior and optimize energy efficiency.

Leadership & Quality Control

• Perform comprehensive design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Ensure all designs comply with international safety standards (UL, CE, IEC).
• Manage relationships with remote vendors and fabrication houses to ensure prototype quality.

Requirements

Technical Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of shipping commercial hardware.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
