About the Role

Clearwater Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to lead watershed assessments, flood mitigation strategies, and sustainable water supply projects across the Austin metropolitan area. You will work closely with civil engineers, environmental scientists, and municipal planners to design, analyze, and implement water‑related infrastructure. Responsibilities include conducting hydrologic studies, calibrating hydraulic models, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring all designs comply with EPA, TCEQ, and local regulatory standards. The position is headquartered in Austin, TX, with regular site visits to project locations throughout the region, offering a balanced mix of office analysis and hands‑on fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management, flood control, and water allocation projects.
• Develop, calibrate, and validate numerical models using HEC‑RAS, SWMM, and GIS platforms to simulate watershed behavior.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, permit applications, and stakeholder presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, interface with governmental agencies, and facilitate public outreach meetings.

Requirements
