About the Role

Our Substance Abuse Counselor will design and deliver personalized treatment plans, conduct group and individual sessions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients at every stage of recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop tailored recovery roadmaps.
• Facilitate weekly group therapy, focusing on coping strategies and relapse prevention.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA.
• Coordinate with physicians, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or equivalent certification in Texas.
