About the Role

As a Structural Engineer at our New York office, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of structural design projects, from initial concept through detailed analysis, drafting, and construction administration. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure all designs meet stringent building codes, safety standards, and client requirements. Your work will span diverse project types, including high-rise residential towers, commercial complexes, cultural institutions, and infrastructure developments across the metropolitan area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit).
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications in compliance with applicable codes (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC).
• Review and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and consultants.
• Participate in site visits and meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure all work adheres to project schedules and budget constraints.

Requirements

We seek candidates with a proven track record and the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New York or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Extensive experience with steel and concrete design principles and analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
• Strong understanding of NYC Building Code and local regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
