About the Role

As a Structural Engineer at our leading New York firm, you’ll play a pivotal role in the design and analysis of complex buildings and infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in developing efficient, cost-effective solutions for projects ranging from high-rise residential towers and commercial complexes to cultural institutions and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough structural analysis and design using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit).
• Perform detailed calculations and prepare comprehensive structural drawings and specifications.
• Review and evaluate shop drawings and material submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Participate actively in design meetings, providing technical insights and solutions.
• Ensure all designs adhere to applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

We seek candidates with a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and a proven ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, etc.) and structural systems.
