About the Role

As a Structural Engineer at our Austin-based firm, you’ll be at the forefront of designing critical infrastructure. Your core responsibilities will include analyzing structural systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, collaborating with architects and project managers, and delivering precise calculations and drawings. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects, applying your expertise to create safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
• Proven proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System) and CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC) and structural engineering principles (steel, concrete, wood, foundations).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
