About the Role

As our Safety Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our safety program, ensuring unwavering compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (including OSHA standards). You’ll develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting thorough risk assessments, investigating incidents, and driving initiatives that reduce workplace hazards and foster a culture where safety is paramount. This role demands a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and enforce comprehensive safety programs aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employees.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of all safety data and incidents.
• Collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of progressive safety experience, including proven leadership in safety program development and implementation, is essential. Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHPD are highly desirable. You must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to influence and lead change within a diverse organization.
