About The Role
As the Restaurant Manager at The Copper Pot, you will be the driving force behind our daily operations and the guardian of our guest experience. You will oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house functions, ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and service staff. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring standards for food quality, presentation, and service are consistently exceeded.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of 30+ servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff, focusing on training, development, and retention.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize labor scheduling to meet and exceed budgetary goals.
- Handle high-volume service periods with calm authority, resolving guest concerns swiftly and personally to turn experiences around.
- Implement and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations without compromise.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, special events, and inventory management.
- Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction scores.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service, fine-dining, or acclaimed casual establishment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in increasing revenue, controlling costs (food, beverage, labor), and improving operational efficiency.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team. Experience with conflict resolution and performance management.
- Operational Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L statements, inventory management systems (like Upserve or Toast), and labor laws.
- Guest Focus: Unwavering commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. Expert in handling VIPs and complex situations with grace.
- Availability: Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge: ServSafe Manager certification required. Knowledge of Austin’s dining scene and local suppliers is a strong plus.
