About the Role

As our Cybersecurity Specialist, you’ll be the frontline defender for our clients’ networks. Your core responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, managing security incident responses, configuring and maintaining firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS), and developing comprehensive security policies. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure all systems adhere to the highest security standards and compliance requirements (like ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks). This role demands meticulous attention to detail, analytical prowess, and the ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable solutions. You’ll be instrumental in building a culture of security awareness and resilience across our organization.

Requirements

**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

**Experience:** 2+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles, including network security administration, vulnerability management, and incident response.

**Certifications:** CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications are highly valued.

**Technical Skills:** Proficiency with network security tools (e.g., Snort, Suricata, Wireshark), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK), firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco), and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS). Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and common attack vectors.
