About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost‑effective procurement and optimal resource allocation.
• Oversee security posture: implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response to protect data and systems.
• Drive IT service management (ITSM) processes, including change, problem, and release management, to improve reliability and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with business objectives, evaluating emerging tools and platforms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of progressive IT management experience, with a proven track record in managing hybrid or fully remote teams.
• Strong background in infrastructure administration (Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper‑V, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Expertise in ITIL/ITSM frameworks and experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Zendesk.
• Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and data backup/recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences and write clear documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, PMP, CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.
